LEBANON. At least 4 dead in a car bomb attack in Beirut !!

At least four people were killed and 65 injured in a suicide car bomb Thursday, January 2nd in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to a final trial balance of the Lebanese Ministry of Health. This is the fourth attack on the Shiite Hezbollah stronghold since July.

According to the National News Agency NNA , " a 4x4 exploded in the busy street of Al- Aarid in Haret Hreik " in the southern suburbs of Beirut. "At least four people were killed and over 20 injured in the attack according to a preliminary assessment ," according to The Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil , revising down an earlier toll of five dead .. Syria divides the country

Several attacks have struck Beirut and northern Lebanon since July, aimed mostly Hezbollah strongholds , whose men fight alongside the rebel army of the Syrian regime .
